PIN.YC - MEET FRIENDS AND SHARE A PASSION. EXPERIENCE AND UNDERSTAND ART, EXCHANGE IDEAS AND HAVE FUN.
The PIN.YC is the young support association of PIN. Freunde der Pinakothek der Moderne e.V. and invites all young art enthusiasts up to the age of 40 to engage together with the artistic present and future. Together we will visit the places where art is created and exhibited and gain insights into the creative work of our time. Starting with the Pinakothek der Moderne and the Museum Brandhorst, we will look together with experts in front of and behind the scenes of contemporary art in Munich and Europe. Established exhibition spaces find their place in our program, as do hidden off-spaces and temporary art locations.
We want to leave something behind and share what is important today with the future. That's why we support the Pinakothek der Moderne and the Museum Brandhorst and with your help collect and exhibit contemporary art by young artists and to preserve it for future generations.
We want to be curious, accept challenges, question reality, collect experiences and share knowledge!
The PIN.YC offers:
- A large and lively international network
- Free admission to the three Pinakothek museums, the Museum Brandhorst, and all branch museums of the Bayerische Staatsgemäldesammlungen (Bavarian State Painting Collections)
- Insights into curatorial work and collection strategies of the museums in the fields of design, architecture, graphics and contemporary art
- Studio visits, artist talks, gallery tours and guided tours of established exhibition houses and temporary art spaces
- Art Weekends in European art capitals with visits to museums, galleries, private collections, artists and art spaces

- PIN.YC 35 €200/Year, (up to the year in which you will turn 36).
- PIN.YC 40 €400/Year, (up to the year in which you will turn 40).
- PIN.YC 40 Trial Membership, €350/Year, the Membership is valid for only one year.
My Membership in PIN.YC is valid from January 1 to December 31 of one year. The Membership is automatically renewed if it is not canceled three months prior to the end of the year.
If you become a member after June 30 of one year, the annual fee for the current year is cut by half – except for Partner and Trial Memberships.
