One of the greatest artistic highlights of the past year for us was undoubtedly the phenomenal digital data sculpture by the renowned Turkish-American AI media artist REFIK ANADOL, which PIN. made possible for the Pinakothek der Moderne on the occasion of its twentieth anniversary.

Couldn't get enough of the captivating and almost magical work on the museum's exterior façade, which seemed to hypnotize the viewer?If so, you're not alone: data sculptures by Anadol are booming and being shown more and more frequently. In 2022, he was on display in Miami and Florence in addition to Munich, most recently the World Economic Forum in Davos commissioned him and presented his work at the convention center, and now he is prominently featured at MoMA through mid-April!

While Anadol's installations can be found more and more in museums, there are virtually no works available for private purchase. We are all the more pleased that the artist has agreed to create three editions exclusively for PIN. in an especially small edition of 10 copies each. These are video stills of the projection created for Munich. It is based on extensive data sets provided by the four museums of art, graphics, architecture and design at the Pinakothek der Moderne and their cooperation partners. Refik Anadol and his team supplemented these sources with other publicly available data from digital archives accessible in the context of the Pinakothek der Moderne.

The large-format works are mounted on Aludibond and fitted with a stable suspension on the back so that they can be mounted unframed directly on the wall.
